Many visiters come to the Loire Valley to visit the gardens and chateaux for which the region is world famous. The Chateau de Chenonceau , on the river Cher (literally!), is one of the most popular.
Guests of Lavender Cottage have direct access to the rear garden and on summer evenings the BBQ is always popular with guests.

Popular with all the family, our outdoor heated swimming pool is a great way to enjoy the garden together, while the more energetic can swim a few lengths every day.
Description
Lavender cottage has recently been restored and lovingly converted to create our second rental apartment. The building dates from the 16thC and we have taken care to retain many original features while offering the full range of modern utilities.
The cottage provides accommodation on two floors. The ground floor has direct access both to the driveway and front garden and the gardens to the rear.

Chabris is a thriving river-side village, on the River Cher, a tributary of the River Loire.

Ground floor
It is of open-plan format, providing flexible facilities for a couple or larger family of up to four persons. It serves as a kitchen, dining room and lounge and is well equiped with everything you could need for a stay of a week or more. Kitchen equipment includes an electric kettle, coffee-maker, microwave, cooker, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
The lounge is ideal for both quiet evenings or entertaining and has a sofa, arm chairs and other furnishings. A video player, DVD player and board games are provided to keep everyone entertained.
The patio door leads to the rear garden and the swimming pool, where you will also find a BBQ and high quality patio furniture for al fresco eating. Relax in the colourful garden as long as you wish!

First floor
The upper floor consists of two stylish bedrooms with en-suite facilities: a large double room with a modern family bathroom and a smaller twin room with WC and wash basin. There is plenty of storage and a small lounge/study with desk. Ancient beams and characterful features abound.

The Gites are available for weekly rental from May to October.
